To make Food52’s “Cinnamon Apple Toast” recipe by My Stir Crazy Kitchens, first grab a bag of your favorite sourdough Dam Good™ English Muffin variety (we used Vegan ‘Cinnamon Swirl’)!
As delicious as cinnamon toast is, I thought apples would take it to the next level, and I was so, so right. Not to mention this dish totally looks far fancier than it really is, making it perfect to serve to guests this holiday season! —My Stir Crazy Kitchen
1 tbsp butter softened
4 slices bread
1 apple thinly sliced
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp white sugar
Set oven on broil.
Spread butter over 1 side of each slice of bread.
Toss apple slices with cinnamon and sugar.
Layer the apples on top of the toast. Top with more sugar, if desired.
Broil for 2-3 minutes or until bread is toasted and sugars are caramelized.”
