Kyvan Pulled Pork Sandwich on a Dam Good™ English Muffin with Coleslaw

 

Since Memorial Day often means BBQ...We have teamed up with Kyvan, to bring you this recipe consisting of Kyvan dry rubbed Pulled Pork in their 'Sweet BBQ Sauce', homemade Coleslaw, and our Sourdough 'Original White' English muffins. We hope you enjoy the recipe as much as we enjoyed collaborating with Kyvan to create this special sandwich! Kyvan is a Georgia-based family business who are as sweet as their sauce! It is owned by @reggiekelly82, a former NFL tight end, who has a passion and appreciation for good food. Ingredients:

1 pork shoulder roast (also called pork butt)

Season to taste with:

Kyvan “Dry BBQ Rub”

Kyvan 'Sweet BBQ Sauce' 

'Original White' Dam Good™ English Muffins 


Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.

Place seasoned pork shoulder roast in dutch oven, then put in pre-heated oven for 3-4 hours, depending on weight.

Remove from oven, open lid and let cool for 1 hour. Use two forks to shred the pork shoulder to  preferred texture. Drizzle with as much Kyvan “Sweet BBQ Sauce” as you like, then toss with forks.

Place pulled pork on bottom-half of lightly-toasted “Original White” Sourdough Dam Good™ English muffins, and top with coleslaw.


Easy Coleslaw recipe:

1 package shredded coleslaw mix

Shredded purple cabbage, to taste

Marie’s Coleslaw Dressing, to desired consistency


Thoroughly combine all ingredients in a bowl, serve, and enjoy!
